About Rangiri FM
Description
Rangiri FM (Rangiri Sri Lanka Radio) holds a unique place in Sri Lankan broadcasting as the island’s pioneering Buddhist radio station. Operating out of Dambulla under the Rangiri Sri Lanka Media Network which is connected to the historical Rangiri Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya the station was established to preserve, promote, and share Buddhist culture and traditional Sri Lankan heritage. Unlike commercial channels driven by mainstream hits, Rangiri FM centers its programming on meaningful, tranquil audio content. The schedule features early morning pirith chanting, insightful Dhamma discussions with respected monks, classical music, cultural talk shows, and educational programs aimed at moral and spiritual well-being. Broadcasting across regional FM airwaves and streaming digitally for listeners worldwide, the channel serves as a serene, culturally grounding audio companion for households across Sri Lanka.
