One FM 94.0 Description:
One FM 94.0 broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our content is focused on community concerns, news, and celebrations that make this area unique. We also want to stimulate the immediate economy by highlighting businesses and to create better employment opportunities for those living in the community.
One FM 94.0 broadcasts in English, Afrikaans, and isiXhosa. Our music policy is to play a minimum of 50% South African music, and we work on a 60% talk and 40% music policy. Our news focuses on local news relevant to our community.
We host a range of specialist shows, each show dedicated to reaching a niche market. This includes specialist music shows, as well as educational programming.
One FM 94.0’s mandate is to support local arts and culture, and to highlight the abundance of sports available in our area, to promote healthy living.
