About Qabayan Radio 94.3

Description

Qabayan Radio 94.3 is the first and only Filipino radio station in the State of Qatar, broadcasting from the capital city, Doha. Launched in 2019, it serves as a vital cultural bridge for the Filipino expatriate community, offering a vibrant mix of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), contemporary hits, and essential community news. The name "Qabayan" cleverly blends the Tagalog word Kabayan (meaning fellow countryman) with the "QA" initials of Qatar. Qabayan FM 94.3 is owned and operated by Tagalog Channel W.L.L., a company established by a dedicated team of Filipino investors alongside a Qatari sponsor. Qabayan FM is renowned for its engaging programming, featuring talented Radio Jockeys (RJs) who bring a touch of "Pinoy" entertainment to the Gulf, making every listener feel a little closer to home.
