Hi there our names are Dr Mark John Bohr and Louise Wambani.

Emmah Karatu Aldi known as Mackenzie booked us into a radio interview last Thursday 14/08/2025 at 10am. Emmah told us that we need to send 1,500 to secure the interview which we did through MPESA on the 12th August 2025 at 9.07am to her number.

Louise spoke to Emma on the phone and also through whatsup a number of times but Emma was vague and did not give us clear details concerning the contact and the address. We continued to try to call the morning of the interview and Emma did not pick up nor give us the details that we needed to go to the interview.

Louise then asked for the money to be returned and said that she would report Emma. We had been given Emma’s number by Grace. Grace Kagume had been in our music videos, the last one being Jubilee. Grace vouched for Emma so we thought it was safe to send the money.

Emma stopped picking Louise calls and then blocked Louise Wambani.

It was a very upsetting experience as we paid the money in good faith and then the morning of the interview getting ready to find out that Emma had not booked us at all.

Grace had spoken to Emma in front of us on the Thursday and we know it was the real Emma. After Louise said she was going to notify management of the radio station Grace said that Emma’s account had been hacked. Louise asked Grace didn’t you speak to Emma in front of us on the day before the interview and she said yes. Well this was the real Emma, she said ‘yes’, then the woman we sent the money to was the real Emma.

You have two women who seem to be doing a scam through your radio station. The money is not the issue but I am concerned that others will get scammed and your radio station will have a bad reputation.

The main reason I wanted to come for tje interview was to promote the year of Jubilee.

I will leave this with you but be aware that you might have Emma lying about this matter.

Louise has all the text and even the phone calls. Louise called the night before the interview at 6:30pm and Emma said she was going to send the poster and details for the interview but she did not. Then in the morning Louise called her 5 times and she did not pick up and only started texting on whatsup.

Emma’s excuse was that she had a sick daughter but from a professional perspective this should not have affected her giving us the contact details. As we were hassling to get the details Emma ended up giving us a number. We tried to call but nobody picked up.

The whole matter was disappointing and confusing and has left us upset.
