About ANR FM

Description

ANR (originally Aalborg Nærradio and later Alle Nordjyders Radio) is one of Denmark's leading commercial local radio stations. Owned by Det Nordjyske Mediehus and based in Aalborg, the station launched on September 22, 1983, and has grown to become the second-largest commercial local radio station in Denmark. Broadcasting across the North Denmark Region, ANR focuses on a contemporary hit format featuring current Danish and international pop, rock, and R&B hits alongside classic throwbacks. The station is known for its high-energy personality programming, including award-winning morning broadcasts, entertainment features, interactive contests, and local music countdowns. ANR pairs its hit music lineup with hourly regional news updates and community coverage tailored to North Jutland. Transmitting terrestrial signals via FM and DAB alongside global web streaming, ANR remains a central media voice and popular daily audio companion for listeners across northern Denmark.
