For this, he purchased the AM 550 kHz frequency from Curitiba, which retransmitted CBN Curitiba. Radio Banda B was officially launched on March 1, 1999 and since then it stands out for its popular, journalistic programs and sports broadcasts, which in a way contributes to the good ratings of the broadcaster. On June 11, 2018, the radio debuted on the FM dial, on the 107.1 MHz frequency. The radio was already in the process of changing and adapting to transmit on FM since 2015 and took over the frequency definitively after Wood's FM left.
